hell go back go play diabolo2.

Guild wars is not Diabolo2, and ppl like it because of that, its team based.
Im rid of players that play guild wars and say diabolo 2 or WoW are better, though BOTH are differen Genres (and they still play guildwars)!!!

Its like ppl sitting in an apple tree that say "i like pears more".

-

"nethack" and simular are still exsiting, and they still lack in a good MMO/3D port (apart from Diabolo2).

Nethack is far superior to Diablo 2 gameplay wise. Hell, I would say Nethack and Angband and other variants put Guild Wars to shame in certain areas of gameplay (the traps are better, magical fountains, better artifacts, etc)

It's really really hard to make a pretty, 3D, multiplayer world that's as complex as Nethack. Too bad, though.

I don't think that it's unreasonable for me to mention the features of Diablo 2 that could be added to Guild Wars to make if more replayable. I'm sorry, but Guild Wars will always be compared to D2 because it behaves very much the same.

Diablo 2 did ALOT of things right. And the main thing it did was give astounding amounts of replayability for the 24 missions (30 with the expansion) included in the game.

The problem that I've encountered with Guild Wars is that now that I've ran a character through the game (approx 3 to 4 weeks of moderate playtime) I don't have any real desire to go through again and there's really nothing else fun to do with my existing character. I have started two other characters and gotten REALLY bored right around Nolani Academy with both.

And, Guild Wars WAS for me until the content ran out. Even simple farming could have increased the replayability for me but all the "good" places have been apparently taken out before I even got to visit them once. Really, what else is there to do once you've done all the quests and missions. PvP?? Get stomped by a bunch experts in a 6 team (of 8 people each) confusing as hell battle? Or do UW/Fissure which is only open some of the time and takes an excruciating amount of time to simply form a party (since you can't even take henchmen with you).

I want the fun to continue and I shouldn't be bashed for trying to make suggestions to make the game fun again.

Yes, that feature is a good one, though with how guild wars is setup, there is little to no chance unless Anet pulls a miracle idea out of their ass how to implement it in without screwing up the whole PVE. Then again, who cares, go for it.

these places weren't taken out, they were nerfed hill giants had a very high chance of dropping rares, that's why they were farmed, and they were found only in one place , another were lightining drakes same problem as hill giants but more common in 3 missions

you know, Guild Wars is just as hard as Diablo II. I'd even go as far as to say it's harder. there might not be as many difficulty levels, but the game is way better, even despite the differences you've pointed out. the fact of the matter is, Guild Wars is the kind of game that all of the MMORPG fans that have no cash have been waiting for and it did not dissapoint. Guild Wars and Diablo II can't really be compared in that way.

yes it's probably fair to say that Diablo II has more copy and paste gameplay than Guild Wars. but let's not pretend that Guild Wars is scott-free in this regard

heh not really a devourer is a devourer
charr is a charr
stone summit is stone summit

I think there's no actual repeated monsters with different names and levels?
if you advance in levels and missions of course the monsters get harder with higher levels, but I don't see any copy n paste jobs anywhere. And I've played all the way through the game!

i think you're forgetting a lot of stuff.

there are definitely different levels of devourers

and another example is the stone boss just before the Undead Guy in the last mission is very similar to Cobble Poundstone

Ettins also are repeated a lot, with different levels

i'm sure there's lots of others which i don't happen to remember off the top of my head right now

yeah, but that's just like saying deer in europe is same as deer in america- why did God make a copy n paste job?

think of the location where you are in.

and bosses doesn't count they're members of a RACE/ SPECIES native to all Tyria.
I think you're not getting the idea of races/species at all.

i guess this is the part im missing.. peopel that like diablo and GW is im sure casual gamers.. me being a semi, use-to-be hardcore gamer is more of a WoW person. this is my advice to u, WoW is more of a unbalanced ruthless PVP which i like, GW is people that like everything fair, and stradegy based. I do not like to think when im playing a game to enjoy.. i didnt notice it till i got guild wars but i actually appreciate the flames and PKing them for it! Just like diablo, someone call u a nub, hostile and pk. Same with WoW. There is just tooooo much NICE PEOPLE IN GUILD WARS ERGH! IF U GUYS WERE MEANER ID CONTINUTE PLAYING THIS GAME!
